Main Responsibilities

• Implement all technical aspects (including the power and data distribution) of lighting requirements for Company’s productions;
• Record lighting related production files;
• Keep archives and document the power and data distribution for all lighting designs for Company’s productions;
• Assist the Technical Team to maintain and update Company’s lighting equipment inventory;
• Identify potential electrical problems and implement preventative measures;
• Install, repair and maintain electrical systems in company and production facilities;
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions; and
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems.

Requirements

• i.       Degree holder in relevant discipline with more than 2 years of proven experience in stage lighting, or equivalent; or 
• ii.      Higher Diploma or equivalent discipline with more than 5 years proven experience in stage lighting;
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures in theatre production; 
• Good working knowledge of moving and conventional lighting components, Ethernet, DMX protocols; 
• Excellent problem-solving skills; 
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua an advantage; 
• Good organizational and communication skills, initiative and creativity, with the ability to work independently and under pressure; 
• Intermediate applications: AutoCad, Outlook, Excel, Word; knowledge of Access an advantage; and
• Preferably holds a Registered Electrical Worker Certificate Grade A or above.

Remuneration Package

Remuneration package commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Fringe benefits include annual leave, MPF and group medical insurance.
