Liberty Insurance is looking for a bright and energetic business development staff who loves to deliver professional services to local agents and brokers. The executive will have the opportunity to not only build a strong book of business, but also a new way of doing business in the Hong Kong market.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a small portfolio focused on selling Personal and Commercial GI insurance to agency market  
• Establish and develop profitable relationships with intermediaries, with the goal of becoming each intermediary’s primary carrier
• Profitably grow a book of business with appropriate underwriting authority
• Develop processes unique to the Agency Team which make dealing with intermediaries more efficient and rewarding
• Host events and training sessions for producers to promote products and generate business opportunities

Requirements

• Diploma or above, with professional insurance qualification, i.e., ANZIIF or ACII is preferable
• At least 3 years of experience in General Insurance business development &/or underwriting
• Good technical knowledge of General Insurance
• Great communication and relationship management skills
• Deep knowledge of agency market
• Comfortable with technology and innovation
• Good command of English and Chinese
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manger
