Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design team to create drape & flat pattern from hand sketches, technical sketches and/or technical packs; through customer approval process to final sample.
• Responsible for sample mock-up, fitting, final garment construction and technical advice all through the process from development to production.
• Provide fitting comments and technical advice. Ensure manufacturing team understands and complies with the quality standards and requirements.
• Personal discipline with time management and budget - follow sample calendar and working within deadline, coordinating with design team and sewing team to create bespoke garments within budget. 
• Understand woven and knit as well as denim product pattern making technology.
• Understand the pattern software drawing and alteration paper pattern from garment makers pattern.
• Communicate with merchandising teams, manufacturing team and Design team all through the process from development to production.
• Any ad hoc assignment designated by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a technical role in the garment making industry
• Technical competence to do fitting, technical assessment and pattern adjustment
• Knowledge of fitting, pattern making, grading ,construction, and testing in related production categories
• Good knowledge fitting and sizing for products including size specifications, grading, and construction details based on different textile materials
• Organized and detailed oriented, takes immediate action to resolve issues and problems
• Excellent communication skills able to communicate effectively across the team and organization
• 5 days work in Dongguan, PRC and travel overseas if necessary
