Job Purpose:

Support project application programs deployment. Provide technical support in the development and maintenance of application software and products. Be responsible for valuation, analysis, design, verification, implementation and tuning of application software.

Responsibilities:
 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solution, prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Evaluate and recommend software packages and solutions to meet business needs.
• Review and provide recommendation on application software improvement.
• Support application installation and verify delivered results.
• Ensure development work following department standard and guideline.
• Prepare documentation of the analysis and design work.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Assists PMs & Application Development Team to plan and monitor application implementation.
• Ensure the software development progress according to schedule and participate in program development when necessary to meet the predefined development schedule.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications to ensure smooth 24 hours round-the-clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank.

Requirements:
 

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant qualification.
• 6 years' experience in application software development with at least 2-3 years in system analysis.
• Exposure to multiple computer platforms (Windows, Linux, Vmware).
  Knowledge in C#, VB.NET, Java, Tomcat, XML, MySQL and MSSQL, Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge in networking, firewall and virtualization.
• Hands on knowledge in system integration implementation.
• Experience in E-form, Workflow, Enterprise Content Management solution & Application migration is an added advantage
• Experience in whole development cycle mainly in system development, implementation and support.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong vendor management skills and experience.
• Be a team player for mobilizing the team and vendor resources.
• Proactive attitude and able to work independently.
• Sound communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
