Responsibilities:

The appointee will be responsible for organising HKTDC’s marketing/promotional programs and activities for promoting the financial services sectors, including :

• Oversee and execute promotional activities for different projects, including anchor events such as Asian Financial Forum and signature promotion campaigns
• Formulate plans for and supervise logistical issues such as speaker/delegate travel, venue setup and information preparation, etc. (adjusted the priority since it’s the key duty for this AM)
• Recruit quality Hong Kong and overseas participants, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors
• Liaise and coordinate with HKTDC mainland and overseas Branch Offices, external parties such as industry institutions, associations and media, etc.
• Provide on-site support and other administrative support as and when necessary

 Requirements:

• A recognised university degree with at least 8 years’ working experience, preferably with sizable organisations, in any of the following areas: sales and marketing; exhibition/event organisation or public/corporate relations etc.
• Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various industries, and markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua; knowledge of a third language an advantage
• Mature with superior skills in sales, marketing and communication
• A strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and outgoing with good project planning ability
• Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure
• Knowledge of financial/professional services sectors an added advantage
• Be prepared to work during weekends on need basis 
• Contract period until Aug 2024

Candidates with less experience will be offered at Assistant Manager, Service Promotion


Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
