Responsibilities: 

1. Market Making

• Provide competitive and accurate pricing for selected bonds to facilitate trades on designated bond trading platforms;
• Provide regular market updates on certain sovereign bonds and corporate bonds;
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned.

2. Trade Facilitation

• Identify investment opportunities and liaise with sales/ operations/ research teams to facilitate bond trades on group’s B2B and B2C platforms;
• Handle daily transaction reporting, requests and queries from finance, compliance, operations and sales teams;
• Contribute to the continuous development of various bond trading platforms.

3. Managing Bond Investment

• Execute arbitrage trades on behalf of company’s bond investment portfolio;
• Manage investment allocation and risk exposure carefully for the bond investment portfolio;
• Provide regular updates on the bond investment portfolio.

Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline, with 1 – 3 years of experience in fixed income/ stocks dealing or market making at a financial firm is preferred;
• Energetic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure;
• Able to handle assigned tasks independently, with good interpersonal skills;
• Holder of SFC licenses for Type 1 and/ or 4 regulated activities;
• Successful candidate might be required to take the relevant Singapore examination modules.
