We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Operations to join our client, an internationally recognized bank with a strong presence in the financial industry. As the Deputy Head of Operations for our client’s retail banking division, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency and driving effective business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic operational plans and initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of retail banking operations.
• Oversee and supervise day-to-day business operations, including customer service, risk management, compliance, and business development.
• Foster a culture of seamless internal communication and collaboration across departments to ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving.
• Ensure strict adherence to legal requirements, regulations, and internal policies, while effectively managing business risks and compliance.
• Monitor operational data, prepare reports, and propose improvement strategies.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of operations experience within the banking or financial institutions sector, with at least 3 years in senior management roles.
• In-depth knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in retail banking operations and financial markets.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, with a strong emphasis on risk control and compliance.
