My client is looking for an Assistant Legal Counsel position to provide comprehensive legal and commercial guidance.

Primary Duties

• Scrutinize and advise on a variety of legal documents, including those related to corporate, commercial, and compliance matters
• Provide legal and commercial guidance to business and operational departments across industries such as real estate, construction, and finance
• Support compliance-related activities and ensure adherence to applicable rules, regulations, and standards
• Develop and review legal and commercial documentation, including contracts, agreements, and other relevant materials
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Specialized expertise in corporate finance and commercial law, including familiarity with compliance, mergers, and acquisitions
• Preferred background in real estate, construction, or finance sectors
• Fluency in both Chinese and English, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices
