The Academy now invites applications for the following position:

Finance Officer (23240571)

Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operations of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting;
• Prepare various financial statements, financial projections, and variance analyses;
• Assist in compiling budget plans, monitoring budgets, and preparing related management reports;
• Aid in periodic account closings and manage auditing processes; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
   

Requirements:

• Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the accounting field;
• Experience in accounting within tertiary institutions or project-based environments is preferred;
• Have a strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and general accounting systems is essential.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
