The Role:
 

• Monitor the gas production at the SENT Landfill Gas Processing Facilities in Tseung Kwan O at the stipulated quality and required quantity (with the shuttle bus pickup point in Hang Hau)
• Liaise with the Grid Control Centre and Landfill operator for the anticipated gas output from the Processing Facilities
• Organize Processing Facilities activities to cope with the gas demand and maintenance schedule
• Supervise Shift Technicians for Processing Facilities operation, production data logging and maintenance activities
• Investigate and troubleshoot of any breakdown and malfunction of the Processing Facilities
• Handle emergency cases such as fire, accidents, gas leakage etc. according to the appropriate emergency plan
• Supervise Security personnel on Processing Facilities security matters on a shift basis

The Person:
 

• Degree holder, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical or Marine Engineering discipline
• At least 3 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in marine engineering, gas, power or chemical plant or at least 6 years’ experience for Higher Diploma holder
• With Driving License (1,2) is preferable
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Team player and highly motivated with good co-ordination skill
• Shift duty is required
