Leadership

• Spearhead a dynamic research team in crafting cutting-edge health products and revolutionary tea capsule / health products solutions.
• Delegate responsibilities to adept Technologists and Scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Deliver hands-on training and meticulous oversight to elevate the team's expertise in health and tea product innovation, propelling them towards excellence.

Management:

• Manage diverse tasks including pilot trials, ingredient assessment, artwork evaluation, and vendor qualification.
• Direct parallel initiatives spanning tea capsule, brewing machine, and process development and more.
• Consistently meet stringent task deadlines.
• Maintain a task documentation in an orderly manner.

Collaboration

• Collaborate seamlessly with departmental Research team.
• Communicate across internal functions—Operations, Commercial, Mainland Team—establishing workflows, tracking updates, and resolving challenges.
• Negotiate with suppliers and monitor their progress.

Technical

• Absorb expertise across development facets: formula design, process evolution, pilot trials, packaging, and stability assessments and more.
• Elevate sensory evaluation proficiency within the organization.
• Execute assigned ad hoc responsibilities with precision.

Requirements

• Bachelor or above in food and nutritional science or related field.
• At least 7 years of product development experiences in health product/food industry. Hand-on experiences in scale-up and technology transfer of R&D prototype to commercial scale is a must.
• Experiences in developing sensory evaluation tools.
• Work in a laboratory based R&D environment.
• Scientific mind-set, eager to learn new things, accept challenges and take up unfamiliar tasks.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and possess good multi-tasks skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills. Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin required.
