Job Description
Our client is seeking a Credit Risk Management – Manager grade to join their company!
What you’ll be doing?
- Conduct comprehensive credit evaluations for new and existing clients, utilizing financial statements, credit reports, and market analysis.
- Develop risk models and analytical tools to quantify credit risks specific to the industry.
- Regularly monitor and assess the credit risk portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement robust credit risk policies and procedures (SOP) tailored to the unique aspects control towards to company.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales and finance to align credit policies with business objectives and customer needs.
- Manage a diversified credit portfolio, actively monitoring performance and identifying potential risk areas.
- Prepare and present credit risk reports to senior management, highlighting trends, analyses, and recommended actions.
- Provide support in decision-making processes regarding credit limits, terms, and collections strategies.
- Assist in the negotiation of terms and conditions associated with credit agreements and contracts.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and financial institutions.
- Act as a liaison between the credit department and other business units, ensuring alignment and communication on credit matters.
Who are they looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, legal, finance, accounting, or risk management.
- Industrial background in container or shipping liners, preferably with financial working experience in leasing sector
- 5+ years working in banking or financial sector with experience in financial analysis of leasing services, accounting and finance, risk management, financial control, M&A, preferably with global coverage or regional coverage.
- CFA, CPA, CRA, PRMIA-PRM, & GARP-FRM are preferred.
- Fluent written and verbal English and Cantonese language skills, as well as a communicative level of mandarin.
- Business travel is required.
