They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their Business Development team as Senior Manager, focusing on the MICE business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to attract MICE business to Hong Kong and increase its market share in the region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision-makers, including MICE organisers, conference venues, destination management companies, airlines, and hotels.
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends, and provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows and exhibitions to promote Hong Kong as a leading MICE destination.
• Manage and execute high-profile, complex MICE events, from planning and budgeting to execution and post-event evaluation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of MICE events, including Marketing, PR, and Sales.
• Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape and industry developments, and make recommendations to stay ahead of the curve.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of MICE industry experience, with a proven track record in strategic business development and management of long cycle, complex MICE events.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).
• Willingness to travel.
