Job Overview:

Mind Vision Company Limited is seeking an experienced Chinese Chef to join our team, specifically for wedding and event catering services. This Chinese Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of high-quality Chinese dishes for our upscale wedding and event clients. The ideal candidate should have a passion for authentic and innovative Chinese cuisine, strong cooking skills, and extensive experience working in high-pressure, large-scale food service environments.

Job Descriptions:

1. Supervise and be responsible for the overall daily operation in the kitchen
2. Ensuring that kitchen team members adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards 
3. Responsible for kitchen team members weekly roster and monthly attendance report
4. Manage and provide training & coaching to kitchen team members
5. Practice work safety and hygiene standards as per the Company standards and statutory regulations
6. Manage cost & inventory control for kitchen operations; achieve the financial target as set by superiors
7. Design menu with consideration of food ingredient supplies and cost
8. Coordinate the operations with floor team, and also departments within the Company
9. Deal with trouble, staff management, conflict management and managerial courage

Requirements:

1. 8+ years of experience in Chinese Cuisine
2. Creativity and superior culinary skills to create exceptional Chinese dishes with food cost control
3. Good communication, interpersonal and team management skills
4. Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
5. Excellent work ethic, attention to details, positive attitude is a must
