Duties

• Develop formulations for various coating products;
• Characterize functional materials using instruments such as TGA, DSC, and FTIR;
• Prepare laboratory reports, proposal drafts, and meeting presentations;
• Collaborate with other researchers to achieve project deliverables;
• Generate and incubate new ideas, and participate in dissemination activities; and 
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related discipline; 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in polymer research and development;
• Strong knowledge of environmental chemistry, polymer chemistry, material properties, and processing techniques; 
• Hands-on experience in formulation development, material testing, and pilot-scale production is an advantage;
• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills;
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present technical information effectively; and
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua and Cantonese is an advantage.
