We are seeking a seasoned Business Manager / Sourcing Manager to spearhead the development of new health and beauty product trading business and to maintain robust relationships with existing partners. Our collaboration with one of the largest advertising and digital media companies in Hong Kong further enriches this role.

Responsibilities:

Business Management

• Lead Multichannel Go-To-Market strategies and overall sales development across the territory, focusing on Wholesale B2B and Merchandising.
• Achieve and exceed annual sales targets in the region, ensuring sustainable pricing strategies and profitable margins.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local distribution partners by coordinating and overseeing their OTB and local commercial/marketing activities, ensuring they meet the necessary business objectives to properly develop the brand in the market.
• Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager to develop comprehensive marketing plans.
• Manage and optimize go-to-market strategies for each country, ensuring impactful marketing plans and POS implementations, alongside a coherent retail presence.
• Play a pivotal role in the creation of annual, quarterly, and monthly sales budgets, and in the strategic planning of sales activities.
• Oversee sales terms and conditions, and manage financial risks in collaboration with senior management.
  
   

Product development 

• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and market research to strategy formulation, development, business case creation, workflow establishment, market introduction, and ongoing evaluation.
• Supplier Management: Administer the supplier network by selecting top suppliers for each category, optimizing costs, and managing relationships effectively.
  
   

Merchandising & Inventory Management

• Branding Strategy: Direct the regional branding strategies, incorporating analysis and insights from market research to develop actionable recommendations.
• Sourcing and Negotiations: Oversee sourcing strategies and policies to meet business goals, and conduct negotiations with suppliers to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements: 

• Strong commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset geared towards business development.
• Deep understanding of the regional WHS accounts, retail landscape, KPIs, and marketing dynamics, including channel segmentation, trade business models, and consumer shopping behavior.
• Proven experience in managing and expanding distributor partnerships in Hong Kong.
• Professional fluency in both Chinese and English; Japanese language skills are a significant advantage.
• Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Open-minded, flexible, proactive, dynamic, with a strong business development mindset.
• A degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
