Our client, a market leader in Materials Science & Engineering solution, with manufacturing plant in Europe, China and Asia Pacific. To cope with their rapid growth, they are looking for a Material Sourcing Manager for Asia Pacific Regional office in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• To develop and manage packaging materials (Trims & Labels, Hangtags, header cards, Polybags, carton boxes and etc) for apparel fashion line
• To follow global initiative and ensure packaging compliance such as quality, global regulatory standard, EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility)
• To make sure vendors are qualified for Sustainability standard; Monitor vendors comply  Product stewardship policies. 
• To provide seasonal forecast to suppliers, managing cost, quantity (MOQ) and product life cycle
• To oversee stock in a stable and safety level; in-put accurate data in the Product life cycle management system to ensure smooth operations in supply chain 

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above / Fluent in English and Mandarin is essential 
• Over 8 years’ regional experience in develop packaging materials; Candidates from apparel or footwear industry will be a big plus 
• With good understanding in global Standard, regulations, quality and compliance issues
• Good in project management and effective communication skills to management stakeholders need 
• Proficiency in MS Office with Excellent Excel Skills is Mandatory; Knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) and Data Management will be a plus 
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
