We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the President’s Office:
Executive Assistant to Vice President (Administration and Corporate Development) (PO) (Ref:24001MY)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President (Administration and Corporate Development), the appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Providing support to the Vice President (Administration and Corporate Development) in the planning, coordination and implementation of the University’s initiatives particularly in the areas of administration and corporate development;
- Assisting in managing projects, supporting committee work, preparation of papers, minutes and reports;
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and coordinating meetings, visits and any other activities;
- Providing secretarial/executive support to the Vice President (Administration and Corporate Development); and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized degree with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience;
- Relevant exposure in the sector higher education environment and development an advantage;
- Independent and self-motivated with good communication, interpersonal, organizational and project management skills;
- Ability to deal with people tactfully and in an appropriate manner;
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (including Putonghua); and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Candidates may be required to attend a written test.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
