Job Description
Lauris Walton is partnering with a few reputable firms in professional services and conglomerates to seek dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officers to join our clients' growing team. The successful candidate will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.
Target BD group: Corporates in Hong Kong / Listed companies
Responsibilities:
• Identify and explore new business opportunities aligned with the company's goals and objectives
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, markets, and industry trends
• Develop and implement effective business development strategies to attract and retain clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients
• Negotiate contracts and close deals with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure successful project execution
• Monitor and report on business development activities, including pipeline management and revenue forecasting
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role
• Strong understanding of market research and analysis techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify new business opportunities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Willingness to travel as required
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team
