Location: Sheung Wan/Lau Fau Shan/Kai Tak/Ma On Shan
Roles & responsibilities:
- Assist in launching and vetting prospective residents’ applications, processing flat allocation and residents’ check-in arrangements for the Transitional Housing Development;
- coordinate with Asset Management Team for on-going improvement of facilities and daily operation in the development;
- keep good connection and liaise with external and internal working partners in the collaborative services at the development including but not limited to district social service operators, social enterprises, educational institutes and governmental departments;
- provide related services to needy residents, timely referrals to the relevant social services and closely liaise with NGOs for subsequent follow-up action;
- promote pleasant neighborhood relationship amongst the residents, encourage residents to join activities and incentive schemes as well as assemble the volunteer teams in rendering community housing activities;
- monitor community events and handle the logistic and conduct regular home visits and/or telephone concern calls to needy residents;
- supervise and coach the subordinates and manage the team; and
- provide administrative support, work as a team with different sections and undertake any duties/tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- a recognized degree preferably in Social Science/Social Worker Studies/Counseling;
- at least 2 years’ relevant working experience preferably in community relations/customer services/social services;
- preferably voluntary work experience;
- good manner and sociable with strong organizational, communication and customer services skills;
- proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
- flexible, energetic, passionate and self-driven individual.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
