Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Executive to join the Havas Hong Kong social media team. With the support of a Social Media Manager, you’ll take charge of managing and nurturing your own portfolio of local, and/or regional clients.
Key responsibilities
- Social Media Management:
- Manage social media profiles on behalf of clients
- Create compelling and impactful social media content a consistent basis
- Craft creative approaches with our in-house design team in-line with client brand guidelines
- Engage in community management, responding to inquiries from profile fans
- Implement influencer marketing and paid social advertising campaigns
- Analyse social media performance and present findings in monthly / quarterly reviews
- Client Services:
- Act as the day-to-day contact point for clients, maintaining an excellent working relationship
- Propose innovative recommendations and initiatives to drive client businesses forward
- Provide expert advice on all areas of social media marketing
- Address client needs promptly and effectively, going above and beyond to exceed expectations
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with activation teams, including the events team, designers, and paid ad traders
- Work closely with internal functional teams, including legal and finance
- Support the social media manager in all areas when required
- Play an active role in new business efforts, contributing to client pitch presentations
- Personal Development:
- Stay abreast of the latest social media marketing trends, best practices, and platform updates
- Attend industry events, conferences, and training sessions to continuously expand your knowledge
- Achieve relevant social media marketing certifications and qualifications to elevate your expertise
Skills, qualifications, experience[JL3]
- Must be fluent in English and Cantonese / Traditional Chinese
- 0 – 2 years of experience in social media marketing. Experience working with any of the following social media channels would be an advantage: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Snapchat
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation ability
- Ability to think creatively and work with design team to produce impactful content
- Analytical mindset, being able to spot data trends and draw meaningful insights
- Passionate about a career in social media marketing
- Organised and dependable, to manage multiple tasks at the same time
