Job Description
Qualifications & experience
- Be a permanent resident of HKSAR
- Have Level 2 or equivalent or above in 5 subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Maths in HKDSEE or HKCEE
- Have Chinese word processing speed of 20 w.p.m. and English word processing speed of 30 w.p.m.
- Have at least 1 year full-time, aggregate clerical working experience prior to the date of interview and working experience in the Government is preferred
- Have good knowledge in the application of common office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.; and
- Have good command of Cantonese and English
Tasks & responsibilities
- To assist in refining the filing system including taking stock of the files, tidying up individual files, and documenting file information
- To create templates to collect data, monitor timely submission of returns from libraries, input data, working out draft charts to present regular statistical analysis, photocopy and print consolidate reports
- To assist in collecting time sheets of contractors' employees and returns from libraries and performing general accounting work on the payment of monthly service fees for various contracts
- To provide secretarial and clerical support for the Manpower Resources and Contract Services Unit including word-processing, photocopying, filing, scheduling, and preparing for meetings, as well as telephone calls
- To perform any other duties as and when required; and
- To assist in ad hoc tasks when necessary
