We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Studies:

 

Part-time Technical Assistant(s) (R6595/R6530) (N&HS) (Ref: 24001TR)

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will assist research team in the area of Personalized Care. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Assisting in participants’ recruitment;
  • Assisting in conducting clinical assessments;
  • Conducting literature review on relevant topics;
  • Performing data analysis for research projects; and
  • Providing research-related assistance.

He/she will be normally assigned to work not more than 17 hours per week. 

 

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: 

  • At least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Proficient in MS Office Words, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficient in Microsoft Access and SPSS/Stata will be an advantage;
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility, able to work independently; and
  • Experience in handling biological specimens or working with human subjects for research studies will be an asset.

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
