This job role involves various aspects of HK project development, including grant writing, budgeting, monitoring project progress, and coordinating with other teams at GX. He/she works closely with team members to ensure the effective and efficient execution of projects aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Create project proposals and grant applications to secure funding and support for project initiatives
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and implementation strategies
• Oversee the day-to-day implementation of projects, ensuring adherence to established plans and objectives
• Coordinate project activities, tasks, and resources to ensure efficient execution
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and develop strategies to address them
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with team members and beneficiaries
• Provide capacity building support to other project staff, volunteers, and community members
• Proactively explore and develop a community & school connection
• Update GX info & press release to our community partners periodically
• Organize first aid training for medical team and GX staff
• Pay visits to our community partners to explore further cooperation
• Organize and lead student field trips to southeast Asia, Africa and mainland China

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e. international development, social sciences, or project management)
• At least 3 year relevant work experience in project management
• Experience in building connection with schools or educational institutions is a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Passion for social development and a commitment to the mission and values of the NGO
• Fluency in English, Mandarin & Cantonese
• Occasional travel is required
