Executive Officer (Ref. 240830008-IE)

Duties 

The appointee will be required to: 

(a) provide support to the administration of academic programmes; 

(b) provide administrative support to faculty events, student activities and student development matters;

(c) assist in student system administration, including admission, registration, record and examination;

(d) provide secretarial support to committees, working groups and meetings; 

(e) supervise supporting staff of the Faculty Office; and

(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Faculty or his delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should have: 

(a) a recognised degree with at least five years of solid and relevant post-qualification work experience, preferably gained in tertiary institutions or similar organisations; 

(b) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua; 

(c) good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills; and

(d) have excellent computer literacy.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
