Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Handle procurement support, vendor management and general insurance purchase related enquiries from both internal or external customer
  • Act as the role of subject matter expert (“SME”) to advise and support end user on procurement related issue
  • Assist contractor owner on procurement process of products and services
  • Responsible for the procurement planning, scheduling and specification identification of the annual procurement items of the Bank
  • Monitor and assess vendor performance
  • Maintain the vendor listing and perform corresponding vendor due diligence process
  • Handle general insurance purchase and renewal for the Bank
  • Handle administration duties such as name card ordering (paper / digital) and telecommunication service handling
  • Assist the management of inventory warehouse (printed matter and stationery) operation with outsourcing vendor
  • Prepare regular analysis reports and dashboard for management review
  • Haandle ad-hoc assignments or project as assigned
  • Assist section head to ensure the subordinates to comply with company policies and standards
  • Assist team head to give supervision to the team
  • Assist team head to monitor the work quality of the team
  • Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
  • Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

 

Requirements 

  • University graduate or above in Purchase and Supply Management / Logistics Management; OR
  • Relevant professional qualifications OR
  • Preferable 5-8 years experience in purchasing / logistics field cover the following:
  • Sound knowledge in purchasing/ logistics operations and able to lead a team to ensure excellent  services provided;
  • Strong analytical and creative skill;
  • A team player with good communication skills and risk awareness
  • Good PC skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
