Our client is a global asset management firm who provide an extensive range of financial services worldwide. The firm is well known for its research-driven approach and commitment to delivering strong investment performance. The IT Solutions Specialist will join our client's APAC team and provide tier 2 IT support covering desktop, application, trading, and infrastructure.

The IT Solutions Specialist will join our client's APAC team and provide tier 2 IT support covering desktop, application, trading, and infrastructure.

Description

  • Respond to IT support requests escalated from tier 1 helpdesk and provide quick and effective assistance.
  • Listen attentively to customers' questions and concerns and offer optimal solutions by walking them step-by-step through troubleshooting and configuration processes.
  • guiding them through systems troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Represent the company with professionalism by prioritising customer satisfaction in all communications, directing unresolved issues to tier 3 teams.
  • Ensure follow-up with customers to ensure satisfactory service.
  • Inform and educate customers about IT products and services which improves workflow more efficient.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in an information technology discipline.
  • Any additional information technology certifications are advantageous.
  • 5+ years' professional experience and demonstrated success working with customers in an IT support role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of breaking down technological processes and deliver clear step-by-step instructions.
  • Passion for technology and eager to stay on top of the latest technology trends.
  • Patient, friendly demeanour with a great aptitude for listening and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Team-oriented mindset with an openness to constructive feedback
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
