- Assist in upkeeping a historic declared monuments site to the highest technical quality
- Maintain highest standards of Facilities Management services delivery, on-site work progress adherence, quality and safety assurance, contractual obligation duties performed by vendors, suppliers and contractors, and emergency handling services
- Review, monitor and execute Heritage Maintenance Plan consulting with conservation architects and structural engineers if required
- Assist in architectural and interior design projects, including concept, design brief, and feasibility study
- Advise preventive measures, building monitoring and improvement work required according to the building condition review and operation needs. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, tender documents and monitor work progress
- Set milestone and coordinate with all related teams on Repair & Maintenance programme delivery according to the site operations
- Develop, review and update operations & maintenance manual and business continuity plan with alignment to legal requirements and market practice
- Assist in the budget planning and monitoring for cyclical heritage maintenance plan, identify key building repairs and capital projects
- Assist in liaison with Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) and prepare submission drawings for building maintenance & improvement, alterations & additions and tenant fit-out works
- Pursue best practice in technical services, facility management and maintenance deliveries with technology; benchmark similar good examples of international projects
- Train, supervise and motivate in-house team to ensure the technical services are delivered per required standards
- Be the role of Facilities Management operation in-charge on shift with other key operation members to manage incident escalation and related team coordination
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree in Building Studies, Architectural Studies, Building Surveying, Construction Management or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in operation, repair and maintenance of building including design, tendering, project management, of which 3 years at supervisory level. Previous exposure in heritage site and able to communicate with AMO is preferred
- Professional qualification, e.g. MCIOB, MRICS, MHKIS or MHKICON is required
- A good team player with strong organizational and communication skills, customer-oriented and detailed minded
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD and computerized maintenance program etc
- Good Command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Flexible in working hours including weekends and public holidays
