Convergint is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven, and customer service-oriented Service Engineer to join our team. A Service Engineer is responsible for security system and maintenance according to Convergint’s standards to ensure minimum system downtime and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the customer service representative to quickly and efficiently solve customers’ security system issues
• Provide support and maintenance services such as routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, system upgrades/expansions/alterations, and systems training
• Increase customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships with customers
• Ensure quality of Convergint services by strictly following company standards and policies to deliver a prompt and efficient response to all service requests in the region
• Handle daily troubleshooting and follow up on all open technical issues until the problem is resolved
• Take over all service issues from the project team after the external handover is complete

Requirements: 

• Minimum Diploma or High Diploma or above in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• Experience in the security industry with knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems is considered a plus
• Basic IT knowledge in hardware, network and databases
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Strong self-learning ability and able to work independently
• Customer-oriented
• Willing to work overtime which will be entitled to OT pay
• Immediately Available Preferred.
