Our client is seeking a Shipping Manager to join their company!  

What you’ll be doing? 

• Lead shipping team (HK & China) and monitor entire shipping activities and logistics workflow
• Maintain close communication with both internal and external parties for all  shipping issues;
• Negotiate terms and conditions with forwarders and transportation services providers to strike for services enhancement and competitive cost;
• Strong knowledge in import/export documentations, L/C negotiation, forward/supplier’s management;
• Keep updated information on import and export regulations, policies and duties;
• Identify shipping shortfalls and provide solutions for long term improvement;
• Assist in ad-hoc duties as required.
   

Who are they looking for? 

• Diploma or above in Logistics / Supply Chain / Transportation Management or related business fields;
• Minimum 10 years solid experience in shipping/logistics fields, background in electronics manufacturing industry is highly preferred;
• Independent, self-motivated, a good problem solver with strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Proactive working attitude, willing to face to problem and provide solution;
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
• Travel to DongGuan factory is required.
