Job Description
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Business User responsible for overseeing the implementation of projects and optimizing processes within various financial market initiatives, with a focus on collateral system management.
- Conduct feasibility studies and gap analyses as necessary.
- Review and prepare project documentation such as user requirement documents, design specifications, test plans, test cases, test results, and training materials. Monitor project progress and status daily to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all assigned tasks and projects.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and conduct user acceptance testing to ensure that system functions and workflows align with identified business requirements about operational processes.
- Support the bank's collateral management operations from a system and data perspective, including implementing trade STP into the collateral system, managing daily onboarding processes, and handling data reporting.
- Design, maintain, and oversee the collateral management infrastructure, encompassing custody tri-party collateral management services.
- Collaborate with IT and various cross-functional departments to coordinate activities and address issues related to cross-divisional projects.
- Fulfill the role of a System Administrator by managing user authorizations for treasury systems in adherence to operational protocols.
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the banking or financial industry.
- Prior experience in Information Technology, OTC Derivatives, or Collateral Management functions is beneficial.
- Familiarity with systems such as Murex, Bloomberg MARS, TriResolve, Acadia IMEM, or other collateral management platforms is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and/or Scrum methodologies is desirable.
- Demonstrates precision and consistently delivers high-quality results.
- Capable of working effectively with minimal supervision, exhibiting strong teamwork, maturity, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
