Senior Research Assistant (Full-time) – Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Insurance

The appointee will assist the project leader in conducting research in the field of statistics.  Research duties include, but are not limited to, literature review, model building, statistical programming, and conducting simulation studies.

Applicants should:

• possess a master’s degree, preferably with a doctoral degree, in Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines;
• preferably have experience in time series techniques and statistical simulation;
• be proficient in programming languages such as R;
• have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
• be able to work independently.
