The Assistant Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic recruitment plans to attract high-quality full-time and part-time students to the HKUST MBA program. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and Strategy:
- Identify and evaluate potential global MBA fairs, information sessions, and other recruitment events to participate in
- Establish strategic corporate partnerships to source qualified prospective students
- Analyze recruitment data and trends to optimize recruitment strategies and tactics
Execution and Coordination:
- Manage the planning and logistics for HKUST's participation in global MBA fairs and information sessions
- Organize on-campus recruitment events, info sessions, and other outreach activities to engage prospective students
- Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure a seamless application and enrollment process
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners to drive referrals and sponsorships
- Monitor recruitment KPIs and optimize tactics to meet enrollment goals
- Coordinate with current students and alumni to support recruitment efforts

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment, admissions or marketing for graduate management education programs
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Data analysis skills to measure and optimize recruitment performance
- Proficiency in event planning and project management
- Familiarity with the global MBA market and recruitment best practices
Working outside normal office hours may be required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
