Responsibilities

• Explore partnership and sponsorship for promotion programs, events and happenings at Avenue of Stars (AOS)
• Develop business plan and operating model, and support the AOS P&L to ensure that it meets the annual financial goals
• Provide strategic support for continuous development to meet the dynamic and changing needs of AOS as one of the most popular attractions in Hong Kong 
• Oversee the day-to-day management operation, customer service and facility management to ensure high quality service is being delivered by AOS team and the hired service providers
• Handle venue rental issues from external, event approval process with LCSD and enquiries from other government departments
• Resolve daily management issues, operational problem, handle complaints and being the main point of contact in emergency situation
• Develop and execute the strategy in marketing and promotion programs, events and happenings, social media and website content, so as to achieve vibrancy of AOS
• Liaise and meet with internal and external stakeholders, various Government bodies on regular basis
• Take part and support Victoria Dockside related initiatives as required
  
   

Requirements

• Degree or above in marketing, business management or related disciplines
• Over 8 years experience and at least 2 years in supervisory grade in business development, brand partnership, tourism, event management and sponsorship, venue management or related industries
• Experience from tourist destination, mall event operations or event agencies an advantage
• Self-motivated, creative thinking, detail-minded and have initiative to deliver the best quality of work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skill, exceptional time management skill, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strategic thinking mind-set, analytical, innovative, dynamic and a great team player
   

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
