Job Description

The University now invites application for the following position:

Assistant Officer / Executive Assistant – Department of Art and Design 

(Ref: EA/AO (AAD 2024-09-20)

Responsibilities: 

  • provide administrative support to the Department and the Art and Design Programme;
  • serve as secretary to committees and working groups;
  • provide support in organising School activities; and
  • liaise with internal and external parties to support the office operations.

Applicants should:

  • possess a recognised bachelor’s degree, preferably with relevant working experience or knowledge in Cultural Heritage / Creative Industries / Art and Design;
  • be proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;
  • have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • possess good interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • be a fast learner, self-motivated, a good team player and able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility.

Work experience in the higher education sector will be an advantage.  Applicants with less experience will be considered as Executive Assistant.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
