JUNIOR 3D/CAD DESIGNER 

Introduction
As part of the Production Project Team, the 3D CAD Technical Designer plays a role in delivering high quality 3D renders and technical production drawings that are ready for manufacture. Supporting the agency’s retail design and production capability with a good understanding of production design, materials, and luxury standards is essential to the ability to execute projects of all sizes.

Responsibilities 

3D renderings of design toolkit adaptations

Layout of simple design intent presentations

Creation of accurate technical drawings in AutoCAD, which can be followed to production

Remaining in touch with fabrication, technical specification and application of production materials

Prioritizing own tasks while providing support for other members of the team

Collaborating across the agency to drive up standards of technical delivery

Requirements

Technical CAD background of solid experiences or related disciplines (candidates with more experience will be considered for higher positions)

2 years of working experience in retail design, retail furniture, events and/or any spatial and interior design experience is preferred

Knowledge of artwork output is an advantage

China and APAC market understanding nice to have

Proficient in technical written and spoken Chinese and English to articulate in drawings

Excellent software skills either from 3DS Studio Max, Autodesk AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, Photoshop or Illustrator to any additional software knowledge

Independent, team player and attention to fine details
