Responsibilities

• Supervise a Production Control Unit (PCU) in supporting daily production control, system migration and administration activities such as password / source code control, access control to production, UAT and DR environments
• Release and change management in accordance with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process
• Support and manage Backup and Recovery Infrastructure (e.g., NetBackup, Veeam and other major backup software) for IS/IT systems which are using Windows, Oracle, SQL, OpenShift, etc., including both on-premises and cloud (i.e. M365)
• Plan, execute and monitor the upgrade and refreshment of the backup and recovery infrastructure
• Support and maintain routine data center operation to comply with ISO standards, play the role of internal auditor for ISO 9001 audit and support various audits
• Supervise the contractors and vendors to ensure that the works are carried out safely with quality and completed timely

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology/ Computer Science or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, of which at least 1 year at supervisory level
• Knowledge of and experience in the following domain areas are preferred
  • UNIX, AIX, Solaris
  • Windows backup software
  • BMC Control-M job management software
  • Veritas NetBackup
  • EMC Networker
  • MS Azure backup
  • Cohesity for M365 backup
  • Veeam backup
• Possession of related IT certification is an advantage
• Self-motivated with strong ownership for tasks and good problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in supervising a small team is an advantage
• Good team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadline and KPIs
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
