Job summary
The Hong Kong Rugby Union (HKRU) is seeking a professional and responsible Rugby Participation Assistant Manager to supervise and support the Rugby Participation Leader & Officers in the delivery of the department’s programmes to promote and sustain the growth of rugby in the community.
Specific responsibilities
- Manage and administrate assigned Sport For Development Programs included all logistic element (budget,program evaluation and payment orders).
- Liaise and communicate with Schools/PT-Coaches/related parties to facilitate Hong Kong School Rugby development.
- Design and coordinate school rugby competition included planning, operation and supervise etc.
- Deploy and supervise part-time coaches to facilitate delivery of rugby development programmes.
- Deliver rugby training sessions and support HKRU rugby events if required.
- Line managing and supporting to grow the Rugby Participation Leader/ Officer.
- Any other ad-hoc project or administrative duties as assigned by the line manager.
The ideal candidate
- Degree in Sports and Recreational Management or equivalent
- 2-3 years relevant experience
- Knowledge in rugby will be an advantage
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Able to work independently, self-motivated, responsible, well-organized and be comfortable to work as part of a team.
