Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for government system projects.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of existing government systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed business requirements documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
- Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Identify gaps between current and desired system functionality and design solutions to bridge those gaps.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of government system projects.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of government systems.
- Provide support during system implementation, including user acceptance testing, training, and post-implementation support.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in government systems and processes.
- Maintain documentation and ensure that all requirements are properly documented and tracked.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in government system projects.
- Strong understanding of government systems and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create detailed business requirements documentation.
- Experience working with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software.
