Regional Finance Manager (logistics)

Our client, a logistics company, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a small team and oversee daily financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a freight forwarding or third-party logistics (3PL) industry background.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations and accounting activities for the Asia Pacific region
• Lead and manage a team in carrying out accounting tasks including financial reporting, statement closing, analysis, tax compliance, and auditing
• Communicate and guide the overseas accounting & finance teams, manage overseas stakeholders, including outsourced service providers
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and other professional services firms
• Take on additional projects and tasks as assigned in support of the financial operations

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, including at least 1 year in freight forwarding, third-party logistics, or a related industry
• Proven track record in leading a small team is a must
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with colleagues, business units, and senior management
• Good team player, ability to multi-task and prioritize different requests
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Prior experience in Netsuite or CargoWise system is a plus
