The assistant facilities officer are responsible for maintaining the operation of the site and shall perform duties which shall include but not limited to:

 

To report to and assist Assistant Facilities Manager / Facilities Manager

To lead a team of Facilities Assistants / Senior Facilities Assistants in operation

To co-ordinate with outsourced vendors for daily facilities service and maintenance work

To assist in supervising security and other general facilities management work

To manage the Security Control Room and monitor the access control systems, CCTV systems, Building Management system and other security control systems;

To man and support any security postings, maintain order and perform duties as assigned;

To perform building patrol and other patrol duties as required;

To assist traffic control

To assist carpark vehicle in & our and other carpark management

To assist visitor(s) to register relevant information at loading bay & guard post

To conduct routine daily inspection in all other facility management activities in Cathay City like reporting irregularities in cleaning conditions, malfunctioned or destroyed facilities.

To report any emergency situation and operate contingency plans as directed;

To provide customer enquiry as Help Desk Services during non-office hours

To assist in event management

To monitor any contractor works e.g. using gondola/scissor platform in a right way

To provide some simple administrative support including job order issuance, occurrence book, routine daily and incident reports.

To perform any other facilities management and related assignments as directed;

To be in-charge person to have surprise check or conduct briefing (for more senior staff)
