They are seeking a strong Backend Engineer to join their team. This role will involve hands-on development as well as coordinating with junior developers to support code reviews. The team operates within agile methodologies and adheres to best project management practices.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in backend development and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in IT or above
• 4-8 years of development experience.
• Experience in IT/ Finance/ Government projects is a significant advantage.
• Experience in system design, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
