We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Open Learning:
Assistant Student Services Officer (Ref.: 240020O)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Providing general administrative and clerical support to School events, student learning support and activities, special projects and functions of the School;
- Performing data processing and compilation of statistical reports;
- Providing frontline services and handle students’ and external parties’ enquiries; and;
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
The appointee will be required to work on shifts occasionally, which include weekday evenings Saturdays and Sundays.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- At least 5 subjects with Level 2 or above in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages, and Mathematics;
- Computer literacy including MS Excel, Chinese Word processing, also preferably WordPress, design and photo/video software such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere;
- Possess knowledge of website management, graphic design and video-taking software would be an advantage;
- Attributes of a good team-player, and a strong sense of responsibility; and
- A good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
Experience in simple graphic design and video editing, production of publications/promotional materials, as well as social media and website updating will be a definite advantage.
Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
