Our client is a global provider of insurance products covering property and casualty, accident and health, reinsurance, and life insurance. They are now looking for a skilled Underwriter to assess and analyze risks for both new and renewal small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) business in accordance with the company's guidelines. This role will also focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with our producers to support business retention and acquisition.

Job Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and evaluate risks for new and renewal SME business, adhering to company guidelines.
• Foster and maintain productive relationships with producers to enhance business retention and growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted sectors; gather necessary underwriting information and deliver exceptional service.
• Utilize interpersonal skills to effectively engage with producers, customers, and staff at all levels within the company.
• Assist with various ad-hoc business assignments and projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of underwriting experience in Property & Casualty, with a preference for SME business.
• Proactive, independent, and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment and encourage a positive team atmosphere.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of SME Assistant Underwriter.
