RETN, a leading international network services provider with the unique capability to connect Europe and Asia, is seeking a striving to learn Junior NOC Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be final year student or recently graduated from technical program with a great interest in telecommunications and networks, strong theoretical knowledge and understanding of the specifics, bright minded, responsible and ready to learn from senior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

• Maintain the operation of RETN's data transmission backbone network.
• Handle all network issues and, if possible, resolve them independently.
• Resolve customer service issues promptly (VPN, data transmission channels, IP transit).
• Install and perform initial configuration of RETN's own and customer equipment at the RETN’s colocation. 
• Organise the technical documentation and solution diagram.

Requirements:

• Degree or studying in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with strong desire to learn and develop in the field of telecommunications.
• Good knowledge and understanding of basic network protocols, data transmission principles and equipment. 
• Understanding of the basic functions of devices such as Switch, Router.
• Our working language is English but the knowledge of Mandarin and Cantonese will be an advantage.
• Candidate with more experience would be considered as NOC engineer.

• Shift work pattern with regular working hours: 06:00-18:00, 2 days on and 2 days off.
