Job Description

The Role

An opportunity to join a well-established creative studio within a growing brand and sustainability consultancy.

The role is focused on design development for printed and digital publications, including sustainability and annual reports, taking these through to final production.

You love layout and typography design with an eye for the details. 

You understand information hierarchies and have a talent for visual information design.

Responsibilities

Working alongside the creative director and design director, and supported by a dedicated production team, your primary responsibility is the design of printed and digital reports including:

  • Development and visualisation of concepts through to layout and final production.
  • Supervision of suppliers such as illustrators, photographers, printers.
  • Attending printing press checks to ensure quality standards.
  • Assist in art direction of photography.
  • Developing SR brand assets for marketing.
  • Helping polish sales presentations for maximum impact.
  • Assisting in the development of brand identity systems and design guidelines.
  • You will also have opportunity to lead creative on projects. This requires you have the skills necessary to manage both yourself and other designers, mentoring and inspiring juniors, from beginning of the project to completion.

 

About You 

  • A recognised graphic or visual design qualification.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a design environment.
  • Calm and patient under pressure of deadlines, you can work quickly and accurately.
  • Publications design experience, including sustainability and/or financial annual reports, printed and online.
  • Eager to learn new design tools to ‘work smart’ and focus on the key design challenges.
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English and Chinese, able to handle bi-lingual designs.
  • You have intimate working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, After Effects, Figma. Cinema 4D is a good plus.
