Job Description:

• Assess current systems and design
• Advise customers to determine, implement, and manage the tools and technologies necessary for Windows Server OS upgrades
• Provide specialized knowledge regarding the deployment and management of Windows Server operating systems, including network, to clients and stakeholders
• Confirm the compatibility of applications and highlight necessary upgrades or modifications
• Experience on the workflow, products and solutions of ADFS Server, DNS Server, DHCP Server, WSUS Server, Windows File Server, IIS Server, SQL Server with AOAG, Entra Connect Server 
• Experience in exchanging server with DAG and migrating existing application server to new VM server
• Experience in Windows OS upgrade procedure, Arcserve/Veeam backup and AD server migration
• Experience in VMware vCenter failover and troubleshooting (redundant and fault tolerant)
• Update technical documents
• Plan the timeline and procedure for upgrading
• Create new OSs with the client
• Backup and restore OS if necessary
• Test, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues related to Windows Server OS upgrades
• Support troubleshooting related to applications with app vendors
• Support for UAT
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on the project

Required Skills:

• 3 years of experience with Windows Server OS and VMware
• Experience with Windows Server OS upgrade projects
• Strong knowledge of network (e.g., Local LAN) and storage (e.g., VMDK, Block storage)
• Basic knowledge of backup and restore systems (Arcserve is preferable)
• Basic knowledge of application
• Technical knowledge to ensure Windows Server OS upgrades and applications are implemented in accordance with security policies
• Technical skills required for testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Reading, writing and conversation)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in IT related field
• Windows Server operating system or VMware certification (MCSE, Azure Administrator, VCP, etc.)
