Responsibilities

• Provide first line helpdesk support to employees in all offices of the Asia Pacific region
• Assist in maintaining server room located in Hong Kong (temperature control system, fire suppression system, high availability power system, environment monitoring system, network switch, structure cabling, etc)
• Record and manage all incidents and requests in ticket-tracking system
• Responsible for handling hardware maintenance on network equipment, server, PC, PABX and all related equipment
• Telephone system, network equipment connection
• Perform IT equipment administration, including equipment procurement and inventory management 
• Implement, support and develop systems following defined standards and procedures
• Provide other IT-related support as required by the business

Key requirements

• Degree holder or above in IT or related discipline
• With 1 year of IT support experience, Fresh Graduates will also be considered
• Knowledge of network and server-side infrastructure (e.g. Windows Server 2019/2022)
• MS Windows 11 and O365
• PC and Server Hardware, AV equipment
• Proficient in IT support, with experience in Microsoft Windows configuration, desktop administration, the Microsoft Office suite, and telephone systems.
• Willingness to work outside of office hour
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English and Putonghua
• Immediate available is highly preferred

On the job training will be provided to this position, including the following systems.

• Windows server based applications and technologies (Hyper V, Failover Cluster, SCVMM, SCCM, SCOM, Sharepoint, etc) 
• Backup solution (NetBackup, Tape Library)
• HP Nimble storage system

The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated, eager to learn, able to work under pressure, with good interpersonal skills, good problem-solving skills and able to work in a team.  This position is primarily based in the Hong Kong office, but it may require travel to other sites in the Renishaw Asia Pacific region.
