The Pre-Sales Consultant is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional with strong core technical skills to join and add value to a dedicated and friendly team.

He/ She is responsible to sell IT managed service solutions including hosted cloud solutions, remote network monitoring, infrastructure managed services to include server, storage and network, security operations (SOC), application and backup, disaster recovery programs, and application and data. The position will focus on selling and supporting key opportunities developed through assigned sales teams.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify new leads through joint sales calls with core sales, marketing, named channel partners, and other sources and opportunities
• Continually develop and further qualify leads and manage them through the Managed Services sales cycle from prospect to qualified leads to proposal to contract 
• Drive proposal development process from managed services solution strategy discussions through solution design, pricing, proposal document preparation derived from RFPs
• Gather and document customer defined requirements from which proposed solutions are catered and developed
• Drive contract preparation process from strategy discussions through contract preparation and negotiations
• Be familiar with proposed contracts terms and conditions to present and interact regarding solution and contract interpretation during client presentations 
• Ensure orderly hand-off and transition to assigned Service Manager for Managed Services deliveries 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCDA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CISA, AWS, Azure, GCP, Aliyun) are preferred.
• 3+ years sales experience selling IT managed services into mid-market companies. This may include: IT Outsourcing, Hosting and cloud services, Network remote monitoring and management, Backup solutions, Disaster recovery solutions, Security etc. 
• Proven track record in identifying new leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales to new customers consistently meeting or exceeding assigned quota
• Proven ability to effectively present and sell to executive management and other key decision makers 
• Strong sense of urgency, proactive and responsive behaviour, follow-through, and customer empathy
• Effective communication skills, written and oral in English and Chinese (other languages are welcome)
• Analytical, relationship builder, change advocate, diplomacy, self-starter, planning and organization skills
• Travel 20% or less
