This is a fixed-term contract position with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical assistance to ensure architectural elements where required are structurally designed, specified and built to achieve the required standards;
• Reviewing consultants' designs and contractors' submissions to ensure compliance with sound engineering principles and the required standards;
• Reviewing technical proposals and site works to ensure that the required quality and safety standards are  maintained;
• Analyzing technical submissions for compliance with the specified requirements;
• Monitoring progress of the works, maintaining comprehensive records and preparing thorough progress reports;
• Coordinating design and construction interface issues and proactively resolve potential clashes;
• Preparing design proposals as required to facilitate the project works;
• Working collaboratively with contractors to ensure construction works are completed on time, within budget and to a high level of quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil / Building Engineering or related disciplines;
• At least 6 years' relevant experience;
• Member of HKIE / IStructE or other equivalent professional bodies;
• Experience in the project management of large scale multi-disciplinary projects;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage;
• Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software tools;
• Knowledge of CADD software such as Microstation or AutoCAD is an advantage;
• Knowledge of BIM software is preferred
